Bombus Franklini Poems

Steal away - to Oceans forged
From dregs of memories
Them - cast - by frail hands
Turned ironclad by faith
...

I heal my heart by the dwindled flame
That settles in my soul
Its dimming now - I see it fade
The light flickers in the mirror
...

I wrote a letter to my only love
The papers curled with devotion
Though little did the letter budge
For weighted down
...

Loosely held - is love pinned to me
My lapel boasts his presence
And in my glass - sherry rests
And in this way - I be the guest
...

Oceanum

Steal away - to Oceans forged
From dregs of memories
Them - cast - by frail hands
Turned ironclad by faith
This becomes the force that binds
The paltry substance - Life
To fickle souls like mine
The Oceans mantle - swallows us
In jaws of likely fate
We amble down its swelling maw
A century away
From donning Death - a muted kirtle
That submits our soul to somewhere
Unattainable but within reach
Our hands linger at the edge
Then - drop - to depth unknown to entity
The eddy rounds - and rounds - again
Encircling our unfurled throats
Till breath becomes subdued
Tis then - we rejoin our own
In the belly of the Ocean
The wide sky of Eternity
Our final place to be.

Bombus Franklini Quotes

I want to dance Alone in a dimly lit ballroom, footsteps echoing on the pine floor, candle wax falling from the chandelier. I want to dance with myself and if she's not there, then I'll dance with Nobody. I want to dance in a dress none shall see me in. I want to just dance.

It's human to have antipathy, it's bestial to act on it without having a good head on your shoulders.
